Like the WLT, Acciónatura fund conservation through land purchase and in 2010 began a partnership on the Land Cover Nature Balance Programme in Spain.

The IUCN-NL is a platform for all IUCN members in the Netherlands. The organisation has partnered with the the WLT on Symposia and training workshops for programme partners and also supports some of the same projects as the WLT.
