Enterprise Plants provides environmental and horticultural solutions for buildings and open spaces. They specialise in supplying and maintaining plants in offices, grounds maintenance services, wormeries for food waste composting, and Christmas decorations.

The Enterprise Plants philosophy is to make work better, naturally, by using the proven benefits of planting to enhance the environment in which people work.

“We believe nature improves working environments and with this as our goal we continually develop our horticultural and environmental maintenance solutions to offer a world class service to businesses across the UK.” Chris Jenkin, Chairman, Enterprise Plants

Supporters for 25 Years

Enterprise Plants began supporting World Land Trust in February 1992 with their first donation directed to WLT’s inaugural project in Belize.  Since then, they have continued to actively support WLT, helping to protect rainforest and other threatened habitats globally in Borneo, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the Philippines and Venezuela.

In addition to their support of the Buy an Acre and Plant a Tree programmes, Enterprise Plants provides vital sponsorship for WLT’s newsletter, helping WLT to let donors know the impact of our work. Enterprise Plants is the longest standing corporate supporter of WLT and the partnership celebrated its 25th anniversary in February 2017.

Orchids

For many years, Enterprise Plants has made a donation for each Orchid Planter supplied to a client, funding the protection of orchids in their natural rainforest habitat.

Using nursery-propagated orchids, these spectacular, eye-catching planters are designed for reception areas and waiting rooms. In order to attract new companies, Enterprise Plants offers the Planters free for the first month and makes a donation of £25 per planter to WLT for land purchases of threatened rainforest.

Christmas Trees

Since 2012, for every Christmas tree placed with a client, Enterprise Plants has made a donation to plant a tree and restore tropical forest through WLT’s Plant a Tree programme.

International Trail Camera Competition

Enterprise Plants were also sponsors of the World Land Trust International Trail Camera Trap Competition in 2014 and 2015. In partnership with The Times newspaper, this was open to entries from organisations primarily concerned with conservation of wildlife and the environment.
