Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle is a distributor of digital content with a mission to raise funds for charity through everything it sells. Founded in 2010, the company began by offering game ‘bundles’- groupings of products at great prices – and have branched out to include ebooks, a monthly subscription service, an online storefront, and more.

Customers purchasing a bundle can name their price and decide how to allocate their payment between the creators, Humble Bundle and charity.

Humble Bundle first raised funds for WLT in 2012 through the launch of Botanicula, an exploration game created by Jára Plachý and Amanita Design. Thanks to Humble Bundle customers, over a two week period, sales of the game saved 1466 acres of tropical forest.

Since then, Humble Bundle has continued to generously support various WLT programmes and Special Appeals through game bundles, saving threatened habitat for wildlife in many countries across the world, including Cloud Forest in Ecuador and Mexico, Rainforest in Brazil, and wildlife corridors in Argentina, Borneo and India. In February 2018, WLT was a Featured Charity of Humble Bundle, and during the month more than £200,000 was raised which is funding the protection of critically threatened tropical forest in Guatemala.

During the Featured Charity month, Humble Bundle has helped to raise more than USD$ 600,000 for charity. In 2018, Humble Bundle announced that the Humble community had contributed an incredible US$125 million to charity.
