Other gifts that help save rainforest

We need your help saving rainforest trees

The tropical rainforests are disappearing at a catastrophic rate, but you can help: For a relatively small donation to the World Land Trust (WLT) you can help save tropical rainforest trees in Ecuador or Brazil - hundreds of them.

£50 saves 150 rainforest trees

A donation of £50 to WLT's projects in Ecuador or Brazil of will save and protect approximately 150 big rainforest trees.

If you would like to help in a smaller way, you can protect 2000 square metres (half an acre) of rainforest for only £25. You can save acres in your own name or on behalf of somebody else as an environmentally friendly, unique gift. If requested, we can send you, or your gift recipient a Certificate of Appreciation, showing how much rainforest you have helped save.

Unlike money, we cannot just borrow more wilderness; once it's gone it's gone - there is no way of bailing out rainforests!

Tree planting in the UK completed

Thanks to our supporters of the "10p tree" project, our reserve at Kites Hill, UK, has been successfully reforested and a Register of Support is available for viewing at the reserve. However, we still need your help saving big rainforest trees: Please support our projects saving rainforest in Brazil and Ecuador.

If you would like to support tree planting and habitat restoration projects, consider offsetting carbon emissions through our Carbon Balanced programme.

WLT's Portfolio

World Land Trust has already helped save and protect over 375,000 acres of tropical rainforest and other threatened habitats that would otherwise have been destroyed. Find out more about our projects »

The habitats you help buy are protected as nature reserves, owned and managed by local organisations.
