Where will your text donation go?

Your £3 donation will go to the WLT Action Fund, for WLT's most urgent project needs.

Why donate by text?

• 100% of your donation will go directly to the WLT;
• Your donation is also Gift Aid eligible, so WLT can claim more at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK tax payer WLT can receive Gift Aid on your donation. Just follow the link from the "thank you" text to fill in a simple Gift Aid declaration form.

SMS Text Donations - the 'small print'

Network Charges

Texts are a single £3 donation (plus your standard network charge), of which 100% will be donated to WLT and charged to your mobile phone bill or pre-paid account.

We now receive 100% of every donation, on all UK networks. (See table below)

Please obtain the bill payer's permission before making an SMS donation to the World Land Trust.

Will the WLT contact me by SMS?

We do not currently contact our supporters via text messages, but if you have included your email address in the SMS we will send you monthly email updates. In the future, if you donate by SMS you may receive occasional text messages from the World Land Trust. Read our Privacy Statement for full details and instructions on how to opt out.

Problems donating?

If you do not receive a confirmation message your donation was not successful and you will not be charged. If this happens, contact your network for help.

What about WLT's old donation number?

Our earlier SMS donation number was 84424. We are no longer using this. Please rest assured that the World Land Trust have never and will not charge your mobile phone for ongoing services. Our SMS donation service to 84424 would have charged your phone only once - when you sent the text message.
