Pura Aventura invite World Land Trust (WLT) supporters to an evening celebrating the wildlife, landscapes and people of Patagonia with talks by conservationist and WLT Council member Bill Oddie, BBC producer Tuppence Stone and author Hugh Sinclair.

Bill will be recounting stories of parrots, penguins and whales from his time filming for the BBC on the Estancia la Esperanza (Ranch of Hopes), a reserve WLT supporters helped to purchase.  He will also talk about the continuing work of WLT with Fundación Patagonia Natural in the coastal steppe of Argentina.

Tuppence, award-winning producer/director of BBC Earth’s Human Planet, will discuss filming Patagonia: Earth's Secret Paradise with previews of the footage from the project. Hugh Sinclair has been living in Patagonia for the last five years and will discuss the challenges faced by the people of Patagonia.

Following the talks will be a panel discussion and guests will have the opportunity to meet the speakers during the interval; there will also be an opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a trip to Chilean Patagonia in 2017.

How to attend

The evening is free but guests must pre-register using an online form to receive a ticket that must be brought to the venue (view on map).
