The Set Up of Saving the Atlantic Rainforest

Follow the day-by-day setting up of the WLT Atlantic Rainforest exhibit for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The exhibit, which was part of the Continuous Learning section was awarded a Gold Medal and “Best in Section”.

Day 1: Tuesday 18 May

Construction of the Rangers Hut

Day 1: Wednesday 19 May

Layout of the plants

The plants are laid out and the WLT's corner of the Atlantic Rainforest starts to take shape (See a larger image of the plants.)

Day 3: Thursday 20 May

Atlantic Rainforest species are planted

The beautiful Atlantic Rainforest species are planted and signs displaying statistics about the WLT's work are added. (See a larger image of the plants and rainforest sign)

The Ranger's Hut, which is the focal point of the exhibit, features a 'window' into the rainforest, with live streaming via webcam from the WLT supported reserve in Brazil. (See a larger image of the exhibit.)
