The Trust’s Patrons are Sir David Attenborough OM CH FRS and David Gower OBE, whose active support has helped to bring the work of the Trust to a wider audience. Both patrons passionately support the Trust's work and have a lifelong interest in wildlife and conservation.

Sir David Attenborough

Sir David Attenborough is Britain’s best known and most loved Natural History Filmmaker. Sir David has supported the work of the WLT since its foundation in 1989 and became a WLT patron in 2003.
David Gower
Patron
Best known as an English cricketer and latterly a television personality, David Gower has a life-long love of wildlife and became the Trust’s first Patron in 1997.
