Sponsored Silence
Sharks Class at Bildeston Primary School held a sponsored silence in order to raise money for the World Land Trust.
Sharks Class designed the sponsor form, asked their families to support them and completed two hours of silence in the school hall on Thursday 12th November 2009.
The final total raised was a fantastic £608.25. This helped to protect threatened habitat in Brazil and Ecuador. Inspired by Sharks Class, Eagles Class donated enough money to save an acre; by raising money at the school Christmas Fayre in 2009.
Altogether Bildeston Primary School raised enough money to save 13 acres of threatened wildlife habitat!
