On 23 October 2015 an icon of English cricket David Gower will be appearing with nature journalist and sports writer Simon Barnes on stage at the Cut in Halesworth. David is a Patron of World Land Trust (WLT) and Simon is a member of WLT Council. The event is part of the annual Halesworth Arts Festival.

Reflecting on a lifetime's passion for sport David entertains his audiences with his laid back humour and endless source of amusing anecdotes from his days at the crease and from his extensive travels. He also has a passion for wildlife, resulting from his childhood in Africa. 

A lover of wildlife, Simon is committed to conservation, and has visited several WLT project areas throughout the world. He will talk with David about sporting highlights and fascinating wildlife encounters.

There are a limited number of tickets for a champagne reception after the performance. During the reception guests will be able to meet and talk to David and Simon.
