Fundraising success for Big Match Fortnight

After a fortnight of concentrated fundraising at the beginning of October, World Land Trust (WLT) is delighted to report a total of more than £326,000 for the Big Cat Appeal. We are enormously grateful to everyone who donated during Big Match Fortnight, the match funders in particular. This is a great result and we shall continue to work hard to meet the appeal target of £500,000 so that we can help protect habitat for big cats that are severely threatened in the wild. Thank you again to everyone who supported us!

Maidenhead Aquatics: fun ways to raise funds for WLT

Maidenhead Aquatics has donated £725 to WLT, following a charity raffle held in three “Fishkeeper Scotland” stores in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. The Edinburgh Fishkeeper stores celebrated their second anniversary in 2014. At their birthday event the stars of the show were the cakes! Along with their donation from the raffle, the store sent us this great picture of one of their cakes in the shape of a Puffer fish. We love it!
