Take on our virtual Miles for the Wild challenge this October and join Team WLT to collectively travel the 5,247 miles (8,445 km) from our office in Suffolk to the mystery location of our Autumn Appeal.

Set yourself a challenge for the month of October and help us reach our target – whether you prefer to walk, run, cycle, or even swim, choose the activity that works for you and do as much or as little as you like. All abilities are welcome, and every mile will make a huge difference.

Your miles will contribute towards our overall team goal to reach the reserve and every pound you raise will help to protect highly threatened habitat. Together we can go the distance for land and species!

Sign up by 30 September to receive a sneak peek of our appeal location and to have the funds you raise in October matched to triple their value. That means a fundraising total of £100 will be matched to make a £300 contribution, tripling your impact towards our appeal fundraising target.

RAISE MONEY FOR EVERY MILE

Why not aim to match your distance in pounds?

For example, raise £1 or more for every mile or km you do through October. This would raise at least £100 for every 100 miles you complete.

Every pound you raise will help to protect highly threatened land from destruction, restore incredible habitat and save the wild homes of endangered species through our Autumn Appeal.

Plus, remember, if you sign up by 30 September your fundraising total will be matched to triple its value!

1 – SIGN UP
Sign up now by setting your target and creating a JustGiving page.

2 – Join Team WLT on Strava
We will be tracking the total miles for this challenge on Strava. Once you have created your JustGiving page we’ll send you all the information you need to join our Strava club, log your miles, and track Team WLT’s progress.

3 – Start your challenge
Get walking, running, swimming or cycling from 1 October onwards and add your miles on Strava throughout the month. Don’t forget to ask your friends and family to support you by sponsoring your miles along the way.
