Stafford Building Society

Stafford Building Society

The Stafford Building Society (formerly Stafford Railway Building Society) was formed in 1877 by a small group of railway workers who wanted a means of saving and financing new homes for themselves. The Society aims to offer mortgage and savings products which are easy to understand with no hidden charges.

The Stafford currently supports over 15,000 people and remains closely involved in the communities they’re part of. Everything they do is centred on helping people build long-term financial confidence. Alongside financial services, the Society back a broad mix of charities, community groups and local causes to Staffordshire, not only through donations, but also by getting involved directly and giving time.
