Description

Protected by the following WLT projects:

The Slender Anole is a forest dwelling lizard and as the name suggests is a thin looking species. The anole is brown with darker lines extending from its head to its tail.

Habitat

Although the species has a wide distribution in South America, previously the Slender Anole had not been well documented in the Atlantic Rainforest and its range had not been confirmed to extend to Rio State. A research team based at WLT project partner's reserve REGUA confirmed the presence of this species in the area in 2009.
