Monty Halls

Monty Halls is best known for his numerous BBC series about escape and adventure. He has also produced and presented programmes for Five, Four, and Discovery. He is an author, former Royal Marine, biologist, and broadcaster.

Monty’s new book – Churchill’s Killing House – tells the extraordinary story of the eccentrics, renegades, and military mavericks who set up an elite academy that ultimately created the commandos, the SAS, the SBS, and the PARAS. It is one of the great un-told stories of WW2. Described by Dan Snow as “thrilling”, it tracks the tale of some of the greatest raids of the war.
