Kai Hockley

Kai Hockley discovered sailing at the age of 11 through his school in Haringey. Within two years he had become the youngest competitor in the Fastnet Race.

Since then, his career has accelerated rapidly. He has sailed thousands of offshore miles, won the Cowes Week Youth Trophy in 2024 and progressed through the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team’s development programme into its full-time youth pathway.

Kai represents the emerging generation of British high-performance sailors  – young, ambitious and already competing on some of the world’s most demanding waters.
