An exciting range of items, from holidays and fine wines to signed books and delicious dining, are available to bid for in our online One Wild Auction, where all proceeds will go to save a jungle habitat in Belize for Jaguars.
Most of the items have been donated by our supporters, such as the Deadly 60 bundles donated by our Patron Steve Backshall, premium outdoor gear from Páramo Directional Clothing, and breathtaking Living Picture from Enterprise Plants.
There are some once-in-a-lifetime holiday packages, including two luxury African safaris, an island getaway with a private beach in the Caribbean, and a week in a Bali beach villa. There are also plenty of options for those wanting to stay closer to home, with a delicious meal for four at one of Wimbledon’s finest restaurants, a 7 course tasting menu for ten held in your home, and a countryside cottage break in the Lake District.
As well as these fantastic experiences, acclaimed wildlife artist Nick Day has created a unique painting of the magnificent Harpy Eagle for this auction. The Harpy Eagle is the largest and most powerful raptor found in the rainforest, and among the largest species of eagles in the world. It is threatened by habitat loss across its range in Latin America.
The One Wild Auction will end December 14, the evening of One Wild Night at the Royal Geographical Society in London, when some of the greatest names in wildlife, adventure and sport, will come together to share experiences and tell tall tales from some of the world’s wildest places. The proceeds from the auction and the event will all support our Jungle for Jaguars appeal to save a precious habitat in Belize for big cats.
