David Gower - World Land Trust Patron

Enjoy a unique opportunity to spend the evening in the company of former England cricket captain David Gower as he reflects on a lifetime’s passion for sport and wildlife on Wednesday 3 September, 7pm at Blackfriars Hall, Norwich.

Humorous and charismatic, David is a master raconteur and since ending his playing days has become a media star through his work for the BBC and Sky Sports. A Patron of World Land Trust (WLT) since 1996 he has represented the Trust at events in India, where he has a huge following, and takes a particular interest in WLT’s Indian Elephant Corridors project.

David will be joined on stage by sports writer and nature journalist Simon Barnes and the inimitable Bill Oddie, both of whom are WLT Council members.

There are a limited number of tickets for a champagne reception after the performance, when guests will be able to meet and mingle with David, Simon and Bill.

Naked Wines, a WLT corporate supporter has generously agreed to donate champagne for the reception.
