World Land Trust (WLT) is strengthening its Donor Relations team by appointing a Donor Relations Assistant. This position offers a real opportunity for someone looking to develop in the role, with lots of opportunity to grow and develop their skills. The Donor Relations Assistant will work with a small, knowledgeable team providing front line support to individual supporters, encouraging long term relationships with the Trust to be formed.

WLT is based in the UK and is unique within the conservation world. Reaching its 30th year of operation the Trust has grown from small beginnings, saving critically threatened forest in Belize to become an internationally respected conservation organisation with a proven track record, working with 32 overseas conservation NGOs on protection of threatened habitats. WLT has developed its modus operandi without losing its vision, integrity and transparency.
What you’ll be doing
The Donor Relations Assistant will work with the Team to provide a respectful and engaging experience for supporters of the Trust, via telephone, post and email, ensuring all relevant data is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a candidate who is keen to work in an environment where they can use their existing skills with opportunities to develop within the Donor Relations team. The successful candidate will be someone with experience of working in a customer service environment with a passion for high standards of customer care, who has a working knowledge of data entry. We’re looking for someone who is able to demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills alongside meticulous attention to detail, who is a strong team player, happy to support the wider team in meeting its objectives.
The post is full time, based in WLT’s offices in Halesworth, Suffolk.
Salary i.r.o £16,500
