1: Making donations to the World Land Trust

Certificates and Gift Packages, where applicable, will be sent out within five working days - please allow adequate time for postage.

As a charity World Land Trust cannot refund any donation other than payments taken in error.

2: Ordering items from the World Land Trust

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from the World Land Trust (WLT) made on www.worldlandtrust.org.

You may only place an order for goods if you agree to these terms and conditions and by placing an order you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions as governing your order. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Purchasing

By ordering goods on this website and thereby agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are confirming that you wish to receive the goods ordered and pay WLT the purchase price, postage and packaging immediately. The supply of goods by WLT is subject to availability, and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods are still available for purchase. If the item that you have ordered is unavailable, we may from time to time offer a substitute that is of equal or greater value and quality of the original item. If you are not entirely happy, you may return the substitute product.

Delivery

WLT will endeavour to dispatch your order within 5 working days of receipt. Please allow adequate time for postage, especially if ordering from outside the United Kingdom. Please allow at least 14 days before querying a non-delivery. Delivery is normally through Royal Mail. If Special Delivery is paid for, please provide a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the package

Refund policy

Full refunds for orders (less postage and packaging costs) will be given provided the items are returned to us in resalable condition within 21 days of delivery. To return a product, please contact WLT on 01986 874 422 and we will advise you on how to return the goods. Where a refund is claimed we will process the refund as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 21 days for us to refund your money. Please note that as a charity, WLT cannot refund any donation other than payments taken due to an error on WLT's part.

Data Protection

When you submit your order you are allowing WLT to use your personal details for the purpose of fulfilling your order. In the event that there is a problem with your order, we will communicate with you via e-mail, telephone or letter. Personal data is gathered in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. Any information you have given us will be used only to provide the service you have requested and will not be disclosed to organisations or people outside the WLT and/or the WLT-US.

Losses

WLT will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and WLT when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods by WLT to you was formed.

WLT will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond WLT's reasonable control.

Amendments

WLT reserves the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from WLT, unless any change to these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Applicable law and disputes

Disputes relating to the use of this website and the interpretation of these terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be brought before the courts of England and Wales subject to WLT's right to institute proceedings in the country of your residence.
