Scottish and Southern Energy

Major UK power supplier Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) have, over the past six years, contracted the WLT to establish trees as part of a customer incentive programme. The funding commitment has now come to an end but World Land Trust partners in Ecuador, Brazil, Paraguay, India and Tanzania will continue to maintain the reforested parcels. These are helping to restore degraded lands within reserves which if left without vegetation might have acted as barriers to the easy movement of wildlife.
