Go Green Taxis

Go Green Taxis, as the name suggests, is committed to the environment. The multi award winning Oxfordshire/Berkshire based company has the aspiration to be emissions free by 2020.

At Go Green Taxis, environmentally friendly alternatives are employed to help reduce carbon emissions. The fleet is almost entirely comprised of hybrid cars which are much better for the environment, and in January 2016 the company unveiled Oxfordshire’s first electric taxi.

The company has a dedicated ‘GoGreenEcoSquad’ which embodies their investment in the local community.  The EcoSquad donates and plants apple trees with local schools and community environmental projects, while promoting educational literature for children to further their understanding of how trees grow and assisting with the development of vegetable allotments. Go Green Taxis also supports the Incredible Edible project organised by Sustainable Didcot where edible plants are purchased and planted for the community to enjoy.

Since 2015, Go Green Taxis has supported WLT’s Buy an Acre programme, funding the purchase and protection of one acre of tropical forest each month.
