The World
Land Trust uses a secure server to process all donations
from the Internet. This ensures that the sensitive information that
you give is encrypted so that it cannot be read by others.
Online
Donations
For donations and orders, information is transmitted
using a high-grade encryption (RC4 128bit) and processed by Protex.

To ensure the information you are giving is protected
from prying eyes, look for the padlock symbol in your browser. This
will be displayed next to the address bar at the top of the window,
or in the bottom right or left hand corner depending on which browser
you use. Normally the padlock is open or not displayed, but when it
is closed the site you are viewing is secure.
Internet Explorer
users will see this.
Netscape/Firefox users will
see this (some older versions use a key symbol instead - when
the key is complete, you are viewing a secure site)
You shold also look at the address shown in the address bar of your
browser. On a secure page, the address will begin with https instead
of http.
