Green Memorials: Save Rainforest as a Living Memorial
By saving rainforest with the World Land Trust (WLT), you can help create a living memorial which will last forever.
Finding an appropriate way of remembering a loved one is not always easy. Many people traditionally send flowers at funerals and create permanent stone memorials, but choosing to save rainforest is a greener alternative. Protecting habitats as a memorial will last forever and at the same time help the survival of the threatened species that live there.
Rainforests are positively teeming with life, from rare insects in the undergrowth to exotic and colourful birds in the canopy. Sadly these beautiful areas of wilderness are under threat. Rainforests are being destroyed, and future generations risk losing this precious natural resource.

Since 1989 the World Land Trust has provided its supporters with a positive way of helping to save rainforests, by purchasing acres and providing the support network needed to ensure their continued survival.
Saving rainforests really makes a special memorial, and means that future generations will be able to enjoy the natural beauty of these unique habitats.
