The Gift Aid scheme enables the World Land Trust (WLT) to reclaim the basic rate of tax on all donations made, at no extra cost to you. If you pay income or capital gains tax for each year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) in the UK at least equal to the amount the WLT claims, we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate.
Note that only donations from individuals (that is, not company or school donations) are eligible for Gift Aid. You may notify the WLT of the cancellation of this declaration at any time, and it is your responsibility to do so, should your tax status change.
When is a donation Gift Aid eligible?
If you are a UK taxpayer we can claim Gift Aid on your donations when you make a Gift Aid Declaration to the World Land Trust.
How do I make a Gift Aid declaration?
When you donate to WLT online you will have an opportunity to make a Gift Aid declaration. (Please note that we need to have a record of the donor's home address to be able to claim Gift Aid.)

- Each gift aid donor must provide at least their house name/number and postcode.
- It must be clear from the form whether all pledges have actually been received.
- The amount of money received by WLT must match exactly the total marked as received on the form.
