Fundación EcoMinga

Cerro Candelaria Reserve

WLT is helping Fundación EcoMinga protect a large area of vast virgin cloud forest through the establishment of Cerro Candelaria Reserve. Together with other Ecominga reserves Cerro Candelaria will create a corridor between two large national parks, connecting the northern and southern ranges of the eastern Andes.

Jocotoco Reserves

Fundación Jocotoco has established eight nature reserves in the Andean and western region, where a number of endangered birds are in critical need of protection. World Land Trust is helping raise funds for further land purchases to expand the reserves whenever opportunities arise.

Cerro Blanco Protected Forest

WLT is supporting the Pro-Bosque Foundation in the protection of the Cerro Blanco Protected Forest, situated near the west coast of Ecuador. This reserve consists of one of the last remaining Ecuadorian dry forests, which are in critical danger of extinction.
