Tropical Forest Project, Ecuador:Reserves Supported by World Land TrustOur partner organisations in Ecuador and their reservesFundación EcoMingaCerro Candelaria Reserve WLT is helping Fundación EcoMinga protect a large area of vast virgin cloud forest through the establishment of Cerro Candelaria Reserve. Together with other Ecominga reserves Cerro Candelaria will create a corridor between two large national parks, connecting the northern and southern ranges of the eastern Andes. Fundación JocotocoJocotoco Reserves Fundación Jocotoco has established eight nature reserves in the Andean and western region, where a number of endangered birds are in critical need of protection. World Land Trust is helping raise funds for further land purchases to expand the reserves whenever opportunities arise. Fundación Pro-BosqueCerro Blanco Woodland Reserve WLT is supporting the Pro-Bosque Foundation in the protection of the Cerro Blanco Woodland Reserve, situated near the west coast of Ecuador. This reserve consists of one of the last remaining Ecuadorian dry forests, which are in critical danger of extinction.
