The Gift Aid scheme enables the World Land Trust (WLT) to reclaim the basic rate of tax on all donations made, at no extra cost to you. If you pay income or capital gains tax in the UK at least equal to the amount the WLT claims, we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate , as well as receiving a further 3% transitional relief from the Government. Note that only donations from individuals (that is, not collections, company or school donations) are eligible for Gift Aid . You may notify the WLT of the cancellation of this declaration at any time, and it is your responsibility to do so, should your tax status change.
If you are a UK taxpayer and you are making this donation from your taxable income, we can claim Gift Aid on your donations when you make a Gift Aid Declaration to the World Land Trust. Only donations from individuals are eligible.
When you donate to WLT online you will have an opportunity to make a Gift Aid declaration. (Please note that we need to have a record of the donor's home address to be able to claim Gift Aid.)
To amend your Gift Aid status, contact the World Land Trust.
Some types of donations are not eligible for Gift Aid unless we have a Gift Aid declaration from each contributor.:
