Supporting us through the WLT Action Fund is the most effective way of contributing to habitat conservation. We direct money from this fund to where it is most needed among all our priority projects. The flexibility of the Action Fund allows us to react to the varying circumstances in which we operate. Land purchase opportunities can be both sudden and unexpected or the result of careful negotiations.
The Buy an Acre Fund is a group of projects where we have calculated that £100 saves one acre on average. Placed here, your donation will be used to support those projects. Certificates made out for contributions to this fund will state the area saved by the donation.
It’s important to us that you, the donor, should be able to choose yourself where your support goes, if you wish. You may have a connection to a particular country that you’ve visited or you may be interested in a specific species of wildlife. So you can also direct your donation to a specific project within the Funds if you would like that option.
