Wildlife Art Exhibition
The World Land Trust will be opening its doors to the public on Monday 3rd November to exhibit an array of wildlife art. The exhibition, held as part of the Halesworth Arts Festival, will be open at lunch times during the week and all day on Saturday. We will be displaying a range of works by renowned artists including Bruce Pearson, Maurice Wilson, Greg Poole and Andrew Haslen. There will be an opportunity to buy originals, starting from £25, and prints, from £5. The exhibition will include information about the artists, providing a great opportunity to find out more about wildlife art. There will also be information about the World Land Trust, and the projects we run to save endangered habitats worldwide. We will also be selling Christmas cards and holding a competition with great prizes, including a large print by Bruce Pearson. So if you are in the Halesworth area, do come and have a look!
**Update**The exhibition was enjoyed by all, and a great success, raising over £400 for WLT's conservation projects. First prize in the competition – a Bowhead whale print signed by Bruce Pearson – went to Mrs G. Last from Halesworth. More information on the exhibition can be found in the press release World Land Trust to exhibit Wildlife Art and in the eBulletin, November 2003: Art exhibition raises money for World Land Trust. |
