Frosty mornings, frozen landscapes and windswept seascapes provided the backdrop to the final exhibition of 2013 in World Land Trust (WLT) gallery.

Sharing a theme of ‘surviving the season’, the works on display illustrated in beautiful detail some of the many ways in which wild creatures adapt to survive, and the importance of conserving natural habitats. 

Artwork by Kate & Hannah Breach, Steve Cale, David Cemmick, Nick Day, David FeatherLeo Du Feu, Roger Hardy, Yvonne Lamden Cooper, Peter PartingtonAndrew Pitt, Susan Smith, Martin Woodcock and Jonathan Yule.

Also on display in the exhibition was Steve Cale's watercolour, Hard Hunting Tonight, which was on sale by silent auction, with a bidding deadline of 4pm on 20 December 2013. All proceeds from the sale went to WLT. More about the auction »

Opening hours: Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm. Closed weekends & Bank Holidays.

Christmas and New Year: WLT gallery will close at 1pm on 24 December 2013 and reopen on Thursday 2 January 2014 at 10am.

Also on sale in the gallery: a range of books and seasonal greetings cards. Artworks, cards and gifts can also be ordered from our online shop. Proceeds from WLT gallery go to support WLT's conservation work.
