Former England cricket captain David Gower hosted an entertaining evening in Norwich on 3 September 2014 as he reflected on a lifetime’s passion for sport and wildlife.

Humorous and charismatic, David has been a Patron of World Land Trust (WLT) since 1996 and takes a particular interest in WLT’s Indian Elephant Corridors project.

David was joined on stage by sports writer and nature journalist Simon Barnes and the inimitable Bill Oddie, both of whom are WLT Council members.

At a champagne reception after the performance, guests had an opportunity to meet and mingle with David, Simon and Bill. In the prize draw during the evening, Paul McEvoy won a cricket bat donated by Barrington Sports and signed by David Gower.
