World Land Trust (WLT) had a stand at Camp Bestival, a family friendly music festival in Lulworth, Dorset from 31 July to 2 August 2015.

WLT staff offered educational activities throughout the festival, which this year had a Go Wild! theme.

WLT supporter and wildlife TV presenter Steve Backshall appeared on the main stage on Sunday, talking about exciting animal encounters from his television programmes, including the wildly popular Deadly 60. On stage with Steve were some very special animal guests. Steve also signed copies of his latest book and stopped by the WLT stand to say hello.

WLT Council member Bill Oddie was also at Camp Bestival, giving a very popular talk about bird watching.

Launched in 2008 as the ‘little sister’ to the popular dance music festival Bestival on the Isle of Wight, Camp Bestival features comedy shows, literature programmes, a kids area, workshops and performances, in addition to its star-studded music line-up. In 2015 Clean Bandit topped the bill on Friday, Kaiser Chiefs headlined on Saturday and Underworld closed the main stage on Sunday.

Camp Bestival has won the UK Festival Award for Best Family Festival in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014.
