New Resource: WLT encourages Running in the Corridors

Running in the Corridors, a new educational fundraising resource from the World Land Trust (WLT) is now available FREE to schools aiming to raise £50 or more towards the purchase and protection of threatened wildlife habitat.

Zoos making a world of difference in Brazil

The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) held their Annual Conference and AGM  in Belfast Zoological Gardens in June, where the theme was Partnerships and Participation. Presentations covered the cooperation both within the zoo world and with external organisations.

New Book celebrates the unique Pantanal

Gran Pantanal Paraguay, a new book on the Pantanal landscape, wildlife and people has been launched this month by World Land Trust (WLT) Project Partner Guyra Paraguay, in collaboration with photographer, Emily Y. Horton.

Elephant friendship bracelets to raise funds for WLT

To help raise additional funds for the Indian Elephant Corridor Appeal, a limited edition of Elephant Friendship Bracelets have been produced, featuring Swarovski pearls and a silver elephant charm, available in three vibrant colours. A percentage of the sales will be donated to WLT

World Tapir Day to support World Land Trust

Ride for the Trees fundraising for the Atlantic Rainforest in Paraguay

Guyra Reta Reserve, owned by Guyra Paraguay and saving critically threatened Atlantic Rainforest in San Rafael, is one of the project areas supported by World Land Trust.
