Rare Pigeon halts development of Atlantic Rainforest Exhibit

The rebuild of the Word Land Trust’s (WLT) RHS Chelsea Flower Show Exhibit came to a halt in June after a Victoria Crowned Pigeon (Goura Victoria) nested in the Tropical Realm, at Chester Zoo, where the exhibit is under construction.

Mexican project partner attends prestigious climate workshops

Emeralds for Elephants: the collection reached dramatic climax at auction event in Selfridges, London

The ‘Emeralds for Elephants’ exhibition drew to an exciting close on 23rd June when the most valuable elephant in the London Elephant Parade was auctioned to raise funds for the World Land Trust and Wildlife Trust of India.

Colourful Encounters in Central London

On 8th July, the antiquarian book shop Henry Sotheran’s on Sackville Street, Piccadilly, will open the exciting exhibition ‘Colourful Encounters: Toucans and other Ecuadorian Birds by John Gould (1804-1881)’.  Original printed lithographs of toucans will be on display as well as images of other beautiful birds including hummingbirds and trogons.

First knowledge exchange for African NGOs organised by World Land Trust in Ghana
