Ben Saunders and Dan Lambert are in training to run the scenic Jurassic coast path to raise funds for World Land Trust (WLT).

The members of Forest Adventure Racing Team will cover 26 miles on three consecutive days from 18-21 March 2016.

Despite the stunning views over the sea, the terrain is hard going. The route traces the south west coast path with numerous steep climbs from sandy beaches to high clifftops.

It will take the team more than 166,000 steps to complete the Jurassic Coast Challenge. The course starts at Charmouth and finishes at Studland.

Dan and Ben spoke about their motivation for taking on the challenge: “We both feel passionate about the environment and wanted to do something to help raise money and awareness of the importance of saving land. We decided to take on the Jurassic Challenge as it will be extremely testing for us, having not done this sort of distance before. The training has been hard over the winter months, with dark and cold mornings and nights but it will all be worth it.”
