For every Christmas tree ordered from Enterprise Plants in 2014, the company will make a donation to World Land Trust (WLT) to plant a native forest tree in Ecuador.

Enterprise Plants, WLT’s longest standing corporate supporter, is confident of raising £1,000 from its Christmas tree business in 2014.

The funds will be donated to WLT’s Plant a Tree programme, which supports the planting of native trees to restore degraded habitat, to connect fragmented habitat and to provide additional food sources for bird and animal populations.

Currently WLT is working with Fundación Jocotoco in Ecuador to plant trees in the Jorupe Reserve.

Enterprise Plants is presently celebrating its 30th anniversary, and for 20 of those years, the company has been supporting the Trust. In 2014 Enterprise Plants is sponsoring World Land Trust’s International Trail Camera Competition in association with The Times newspaper.

The company provides fully decorated Christmas trees in all shapes and sizes, live and artificial, to suit every location both indoor and outdoor. Enterprise also offers a free collection and composting service for live trees.
