Andrew Haslen is no newcomer to WLT Christmas cards. We have featured his designs on hares several times and these have been bestsellers. This year we have produced a wonderfully decorative card featuring Winter Apples with Guinea Fowl and Blackbirds. Andrew’s work concentrates on animal subjects and these are shown in galleries throughout the UK.  In 1988 Andrew started the Wildlife Art Gallery, in Lavenham, Suffolk and in the same year was elected a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists. Andrew has been invited to join the Artists for Nature Foundation’s expeditions to Holland, 1990, Poland, 1992, and Alaska and Ireland, 1995.

2010 New Christmas Card Design

The new 2010 Christmas card design by Andrew Haslen

Although his preferred medium is watercolour, he also paints using oils and produces linocuts, screenprints and sculpture.  We thank Andrew for, once again, donating the use of his image for our 2010 card which will raise funds for our urgent conservation work.
