Rainforest education CD for schools

Rainforest Education CD

What would you pack if you travelled to the rainforest?

This is just one of the questions posed to school children in the new, FREE, teaching resource from World Land Trust and national shopping centre brand The Mall as part of their environmental initiative EnviroMall. Learning about Rainforests is a paperless teaching resource that is aimed at Key Stage 1 and 2 students. Packed with information, activity sheets and two case study posters aimed at students and a separate pack and PowerPoint presentation for teachers to use in the classroom, this pack will turn geography and science lessons into Rainforest Explorer adventures!

The CD has been produced in collaboration with EnviroMall, an initiative that aims to reduce the amount of energy used and waste produced by shopping centres, their retailers and their customers, in an effort to reduce their impact on the environment. It is available free of charge in CD-ROM format, or can be downloaded online, at http://www.themall.co.uk/sign-up/enviromall-teacher.aspx

WLT has a limited number of CDs available for use in schools and by home educators. If you would like one please email WLT's Education Officer Kelly Jacobs kjacobs*at*worldlandtrust.org, including your name and address and the school where you intend to use it. (To avoid spam, we cannot show the email address in full. Please replace *at* with @ in your email.)
