Urgent Appeal to Save Orang-utan Habitat in Borneo 


Latest World Land Trust news:

In a bid to save a vital area of forest in Borneo for Orang-utans and other wildlife living there, the World Land Trust has launched the Orang-utan Appeal. Working with local partner organization in Borneo, LEAP Conservancy, WLT urgently need to raise £343,000 for the purchase and protection of a 222 acre (90 ha) corridor to link together two sections of the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, enabling the protection and long-term survival of over 600 Orang-utans.
