Prince Charles calls for an end to rainforest destruction


Prince Charles has described rain forests as the "air conditioning system" of the world and has described it as "crazy" that they are worth more dead than alive today.

Brazilian Environment minister resigns


Marina Silva, Environment minister of Brazil, has resigned, citing an increasing difficulty to "pursue the federal environmental agenda" of the country in regards to the Amazon Rainforest.

Norwich council unveils "The house that fly-tipping built"


An empty property has been used to convey how serious the issue of fly-tipping is - by furnishing it exclusively with items taken from cases of fly-tipping around the city.

Arctic Wetlands saved from Drilling


The Bush administration has proposed a 10 year leasing moratorium on 430,000 acres of Alaskan wetland. The news comes after the government declared that the Polar bear is an endangered species, but that this new classification wouldn't affect plans for drilling in the arctic circle.
