People-friendly insect repellent from Nikwax supports World Land Trust projects

Nikwax Skitostop rangeWorld Land Trust sponsor Nikwax, a company known for its environmentally safe waterproofing products, has just launched SkitoStop™, a range of high performance insect protection for travellers.

Many insect repellents on the market today contains DEET, which, although effective, may cause adverse health affects and is unsuitable for children. It can also cause damage to plastics and fabrics.

SkitoStop™ insect repellent is DEET-free, safe to use on children and repel mosquitoes and other biting insects for up to 6 hours. The range also includes sunscreen with insect repellent, after sun and bite relief gel, as well as spray-on insect control for mosquito nets, awnings and tents.

As part of its commitment to the environment, Nikwax is donating 2% of every sale from SkitoStop™ to the World Land Trust.
