Justgiving web pages raise funds for WLT

Latest World Land Trust News

The WLT would like to say a big thank you to its London marathon supporters, some of whom created personal fundraising web pages on the Justgiving.com website for gathering donations.

It is often quite easy to get sponsors to pledge donations for climbs, runs, silences, and so on, but collecting the funds can be another matter altogether. By creating a page for your event through Justgiving.com you can monitor funds as they are raised, and your sponsors can make their donation direct.

Justgiving has recently introduced two new fundraising tools: The first is the Justgiving Widget, which is a mini version of your fundraising page that can be put on your personal blog or website as a clever way to spread the word about your fundraising page. The second is a button that enables you to import email addresses from your own email system straight in to the Justgiving email template so that you can quickly and easily contact friends and family with news about your fundraising efforts.

To see and support those currently fundraising for the Trust on Justgiving.com, or to set up your own fundraising page, use the link below.
