Save a Brazilian Beauty this Valentines!

Press Release dated: Wednesday, January 17, 2007

The World Land Trust have decided they would like to show the Brazilian rainforest a little love this Valentines and would like to purchase and protect a special Valentines Day Reserve. The conservation charity know they can achieve this with help from members of the British public who would like to purchase something a little more meaningful for their Valentine in 2007.

The World Land Trust would like to help us step off the consumer treadmill and fight climate change at the same time as giving a Valentine gift that will last forever!

Consequently the charity has developed a range of Valentines packages to suit all budgets which will bowl over any climate conscience, eco savvy valentine. To play your part in saving a whole Valentine Day's Reserve, you can choose a gift ranging from £75.00 to £20,000:

£75.00

Treat your valentine to 2 acres of Brazilian rainforest and have your loved ones name engraved on to a stakeholder's plaque at the reserve. Your loved one will then receive a Valentines gift pack and a large bar of Green & Black's Maya Gold Fairtrade chocolate.

£2,500

This donation would allow the World Land Trust to purchase and protect 50 acres of rainforest on your behalf. This would make your Valentine a key stake holder in the reserve and have their name engraved on a plaque on the reserve and receive a beautiful valentines gift package from the World land Trust. Oh, and a bar of chocolate too!

£5,000

A contribution of this size would buy a whopping 100 acres and make your Valentine a serious stakeholder in the reserve. As well as having their name engraved on a plaque on the reserve they will receive a certificate personally signed by Sir David Attenborough and will also receive a GIS map clearly showing where their 100 acres of rainforest is positioned once the reserve has been purchased. Yes, a bar of chocolate as well!

£20,000

Wow your Valentine with their very own Brazilian Rainforest Reserve! The reserve will be owned and protected by the World Land Trust's partner in Brazil, but will be named after your Valentine and will bear the name of your choice forever! Sound too good to be true? Then, if you wish, the World Land Trust can arrange for you to have a guided tour of the reserve with 3 free nights accommodation at the Lodge, so you can witness the amazing work being carried out on your behalf! And a bar of chocolate!

The list is endless and there really is something for everybody who wants to surprise their partners this Valentines Day. There is a full range of gift options on www.worldlandtrust.org which not only allows you to protect rainforest but also an abundance of animals ranging from Jaguars to hummingbirds!

Now why would any girl wish for flowers this Valentines when she could have her very own Brazilian Valentine reserve?
