Peru's Indigenous Peoples Threatened

Latest News Headlines

Indigenous people in Peru's forests are facing threats to their lives, ancestral territories and ancient rainforest homes due to illegal logging, which occurs even inside National Parks and other protected areas. These activities are leading to conflicts and is a violation of the human rights of the people who have chosen to live their traditional lives in isolation. The Rainforest Foundation Norway and Forests.org have organised a petition to request that the Peruvian authorities do all they can to protect the human rights and rainforest habitats of isolated indigenous peoples.

Sign the petition: Peru's Isolated Indigenous Peoples Gravely Threatened (Forests.org)
