Karl, who is currently the Director of the Trust's visitor centre at Wyld Court near Newbury in Berkshire, aims to establish The Living rainforest as a charity providing education about rainforests and promoting their conservation. This move will enable the World Land Trust to focus its work on its land purchase and conservation activities and allow the team at Wyld Court to develop The Living Rainforest, which was donated to the Trust by Mr Keith Bromley four years ago, as an independent educational charity.
