World Land Trust is pleased to announce the Limerick Competition winner.
The overall winner, selected in a public vote, is Sally Peberday. Patrick McKeon came a close second and Peter Davies came third. All three will receive a prize, with Sally winning the overall prize, a meeting with Bill Oddie and a framed copy of the winning limerick.
Limericks submitted by Diana Dentish, Colin McCarthy, Dawn Lawrence, Rowena Millar and Innes Anderson were commended by the judges.
The competition was launched in January 2013 to mark an exhibition of Edward Lear’s prints in World Land Trust gallery.
