Notes: Drawn from life in 2009. Jason's comments on creating this piece:
"This sketch was of a young calf – one of several in the field with their mothers. Between feeding the calves would lie flopped on the grass, usually gathered together into a loose group. Their mothers would graze around them, ranging with 50 or 60 yards, but usually no further. The bull would sit or graze near the calves, often staying close to a particular cow."
