Local artist, Yvonne Forster is the first to take up the Student Spot at the World Land Trust Gallery.
Originally from Cumbria, Yvonne settled in Halesworth in 1989 and is now taking a degree in Fine Arts at UCS Ipswich.
Yvonne’s main preoccupation is discovering how art can deal with social issues while being aesthetically effective. Colour plays an important part in her work – especially blues, oranges and browns –which she uses as a means to reflect both mood and situation.
For the Professional Practice module of her degree Yvonne will be working with World Land Trust over the course of two exhibitions to create artwork appropriate to the theme of the exhibition and the role of World Land Trust.
