Trevor Boyer was born in Castleford in Yorkshire in 1948. He studied at Wakefield School of Art then, before starting work as a commercial artist. At the age of twenty seven, Trevor – a keen birdwatcher since his childhood - became a freelance artist specialising in birds. He has travelled extensively around the world to observe birds in their natural habitats. His work has been published in numerous books, and has been exhibited and sold at Sotheby’s and Christie’s, London.
